When I saw Spider-Man: No homecoming in theaters, Matt Murdock’s small cameo received as much applause as the return of the other two Spider-Men. Then, when fans found out that Man Without Fear would be back she-hulk, it became very real that Daredevil was officially an important part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now with Daredevil: Born again in the list of upcoming wonder shows and slated for release in 2024, Charlie Cox, who plays the lawyer and vigilante, explains how his return is starting to “feel very real.”
In an interview with Tremendous , Cox talked about preparing the lead role for his show. She talked about the loss of hope after Netflix canceled the show and how she deeply appreciates the fans and the #SaveDaredevil campaign. Now with she-hulk increasingly Marvel projects coming soon Cox explains how excited he is to be returning as Hell’s Kitchen Demon in Disney + series Daredevil: Born again .
Being invited to come back and do it all over again feels like a dream. It’s too good to be true. I am so excited for the future. I can’t wait to be on set from day one of the new show. I am already starting to train. As you know, I’m already starting to make plans in terms of life and education and conversing with the writers and all. So it starts to look very real.
I can’t stress enough that Cox thought this would never happen. At the beginning of the interview, he recalled the phone call he got from Kevin Feige asking him to come back. He said he thought he would be asked to do a charity event, but it was more an offer to reprise the fan favorite character in. Spiderman Yes she-hulk. Seeing the actor’s enthusiasm for his return makes me even more excited for the upcoming Disney + series.
Along with Cox, we know that Vincent D’Onofrio will reprise the role of Kingpin. If you’ve seen the Marvel Projects in order, you’ll know he’s back Hawk eye about the same time Cox appeared Spiderman. What we don’t know is who else will be on the show. Deborah Ann Woll commented to be ready to return as Karen Page, and Rosario Dawson spoke on the “pending deal” he has with Claire Temple. We hope to meet some familiar faces, but it’s also exciting to know that we’ll probably meet some new characters as well. And apparently one of Cox’s friends is auditioning for a role.
In fact, I received an email this morning from a friend of mine saying he was being asked to audition for a role. I didn’t know what part it was, of course, but it’s starting to feel very real. I am very grateful that I had the opportunity to play this role. I feel very lucky to have had such an incredible role. There are many people to thank.
Well, Charlie Cox, I’d like to thank you for all your passion for this role. It is so exciting to see Daredevil again and to know that he will play an even bigger role in the future of the MCU. I think a lot of fans think the same way, I mean, you’ve seen it reactions on social media upon his return in she-hulk? I was thirsty and surprising. So yeah, her long-term comeback is starting to feel very, very real.
