These images date precisely from March 5, 2016 and were filmed by the video surveillance cameras of the InterContinental hotel in Los Angeles. We can see Cassie (real name Casandra Ventura) walking towards the elevators and Diddy, dressed in a simple white towel, running towards the young woman.
Before she can enter an elevator, the rapper grabs Casandra Ventura by the neck, violently throwing her to the ground. He then kicks her twice and then drags her to the ground. A few moments later, Sean Combs appears to push his girlfriend again before grabbing an object, perhaps a vase, and throwing it in her direction.
“This heartbreaking video confirms Mr. Combs’ disturbing and predatory behavior,” Douglas H. Wigdor, Casandra Ventura’s attorney, responded to CNN. “Words cannot express the courage and determination Ms. Ventura showed in bringing this to light.”
A friendly agreement in November 2023
Last November, the R&B singer filed a complaint for rape and physical violence against the rapper. The court document described “sexual,” “psychological” and “deviant” behavior spanning a decade. Casandra Ventura also accused Sean Combs of raping her in 2018.
The day after the complaint was filed, the two parties reached a “friendly” agreement, without the details of this agreement being known.
“I have decided to resolve the matter amicably under conditions that give me some control,” Casandra Ventura said in a statement.
Two other women have since filed complaints against Diddy. One of them, with her face uncovered, accuses him of having “drugged and sexually assaulted her” in 1992. Diddy is also the subject of a civil complaint in New York for acts of gang rape of a minor under 17 years of age in 2003.
On March 25, several of the rapper’s residences in Los Angeles and Miami were searched. These searches are the product of a “witch hunt based on unfounded accusations,” Sean Combs’ lawyer, Aaron Dyer, ruled the next day.
