Benjamin Szwarc, candidate in season 10 of The voice, died on Saturday, May 18. His family announced it on Facebook on Wednesday, May 22, referring to an “accidental death.” He was 29 years old.
“Benjamín was an artist to the bottom of his soul,” his family wrote on the social network. “More than anything, he loved singing, acting, dancing and making people laugh.”
“Although he left too soon, Benjamin left precious messages that we will try to discover and understand. Rest in peace. We will love you all our lives.”

Benjamin Szwarc participated in the blind auditions for season 10 of The voice, in 2021, and marked the coaches with his high voice. If his interpretation of Dream of Mylène Farmer had not allowed him to join one of their teams, but they still congratulated him: “Nature has given you a gift,” Florent Pagny had assured him in particular.
ITV Studios France, which produces the show, paid tribute to him this Thursday on social media:
“It is with deep sadness that we learned yesterday of the passing of Benjamin Szwarc, a talent who passed the blind auditions for season 10 of ‘The Voice’.”

Benjamin Szwarc oscillated between music and humor. He released some independent songs available on Spotify and also stood out with humorous pills on social media.
