Bruce Springsteen, who already canceled a concert this weekend in Marseille due to a loss of voice, is forced to postpone three new dates of his tour, in Prague and Milan, he announced this Sunday, May 26, on his Instagram account.
“Bruce is recovering easily, and with the E Street Band they hope to resume their successful European stadium tour on June 12 in Madrid” in Spain, it is indicated.
New dates “quickly announced”
Following the cancellation of Saturday night’s concert in Marseille due to “voice problems”, “a new examination led the doctors to determine that Bruce should not perform for the next ten days”, he specifies.
The Boss was scheduled to perform on May 28 in Prague and June 1 and 3 in Milan. “New dates for these shows will be announced soon,” he says. Those who wish may obtain a refund for their tickets.
The American rocker’s concert on Saturday night at the Vélodrome in Marseille, the tour’s only date in France, was canceled at the last minute. Many fans were already present around the 60,000-seat venue. The 74-year-old singer announced in September the postponement of his planned concerts in the United States until 2024 to “recover from a gastric ulcer.”
