Michel Sardou has not yet reached retirement. The singer, who finished his farewell tour last March, is playing extra time. The film comes from their concerts at the Paris La Défense Arena on March 16 and 17 and will be screened on June 20 and 23 in more than 250 cinemas.
And the singer was present at the premiere of the film. She took the opportunity to interact with her fans. “This is my last tour,” she said. Responding to those demanding a new Olympia, she humorously added: “In 2029 you will have nothing at all, I will be prime minister or nothing.”
“I’m not a fan of Sardou”
The fans then chanted “Michel president.” “President no, no, we hate all presidents, while we say to prime ministers ‘they’re funny.’
Immediately afterwards, the singer left the room, after explaining to the audience that he hated seeing himself on the screen and hearing himself sing.
“Tonight I will be with you in spirit, but I will not be there because I am not a Sardou fan.”
If this is Michel Sardou’s second farewell tour, the singer promised that this time he intends retirement flavorin the south of France, with his wife Anne-Marie Périer.
“On March 30, I am on vacation, retired,” he declared to Parisian, on March 13. “I’m finally going to breathe.”
