This song was co-written by Barbara Pravi, who finished second in Classic Eurovision in 2021 with Clever. Lissandro is from a Moselle village, according to France Télévisions. His influences range from old school rock to today’s colorful R’n’B pop.
His song is “a delicious mix between Bruno Mars and Elvis that will make Europe vibrate,” Alexandra Redde-Amiel, head of the French delegation at Eurovision and variety director of France Télévisions, said in a press release.
20th edition of the Junior competition
The children’s version of the singing contest will take place in Yerevan, following Armenia’s victory last year with the young Maléna (14 years old). France, which organized the contest and was represented by Enzo (13 years old) and his song TIC Tac, had finished third, following Valentina’s win in 2020.
Junior Eurovision, of which this will be the 20th edition, is reserved for children from 9 to 14 years old. Unlike Eurovision for adults, you can vote for your own country.
