The holiday season is upon us and we’re getting even closer to meeting Tim Allen’s Santa Claus! The new trailer for Santa Claus came out recently and gave fans a fun preview of what to expect from this new vacation adventure, which features many familiar faces from the beloved Disney film trilogy. But this time around, Allen’s real-life daughter Elizabeth Allen-Dick, who also plays her daughter on screen, also joins the fray. And as a father and actor, the the last man standing Star gave a little advice for her son.
Tim Allen talked about the upcoming limited series with people and talked about what it was like to return to his iconic role. Allen also said he gave his daughter and partner Santa Claus The actor is a key tip when it comes to the roles people play on set in any production. And these words will surely guide her in the pursuit of her acting career:
The advice I gave to my daughter Elizabeth is that the writers, producers and crew have the most important roles in a production. Being an actor is a wonderful job, but we’re only part of a teamwork experience.
While the father-daughter duo likely had a great time together on set, it’s also important to know that Tim Allen made sure Elizabeth Allen-Dick understood the value of collaboration when it comes to … a production. Working on any type of scenography is not exactly easy, especially when it comes to the scenography of such a prestigious production. Teamwork is essential and it is really good that young artists know this.
In Santa ClausElizabeth Allen-Dick plays the youngest daughter of Sandra, Scott and Carol Calvin. Fans will recall that the couple also had a son named Buddy, who was born at the end of santa claus 3. Austin Kane will play the now grown-up Buddy, who goes by the name of Cal. Of course, Scott’s other son Charlie will be on the show and the trailer confirms Eric Lloyd will reprise the role.
This isn’t the first time Tim Allen has talked about working with his daughter on the limited series. He congratulated her and revealed that the collaboration was a life-changing experience for her. They certainly wouldn’t be the first pair of parents to act in a movie or TV show together. But the idea of the two starring in the holiday-focused franchise is sweet.
Santa Claus it was announced earlier this year and it looked like Disney + wasted no time getting the show into production in time for the holiday season. With the return of fan favorites including David Krumholtz as Bernard, this series should end up being satisfying enough for longtime fans. The show will see Scott, played by Tim Allen, retire as Santa Claus and set out to find the perfect replacement before it’s too late. Allen appears to be back in the part of St. Nick and it will be exciting to see what Elizabeth Allen-Dick brings to the (Christmas) party.
Santa Claus will release its first two episodes on Wednesday, November 16, so make sure you have a Disney + subscription to watch them. Plus, check out 24 News Bulletin’s 2022 TV show for more big releases to come.
