Luke Evans spoke about the prolific British character during an interview with The Independent. The cerebral actor also shared his thoughts on how Daniel Craig’s iteration of Agent differed from his predecessors. When he discussed the allure of the franchise, he dismissed the idea that people are drawn to the sexier aspects of it:
This is not Roger Moore [era] where he sleeps with five women per film, that’s not what it’s about anymore. I think people are more interested in the show, in the story.
There was certainly more interest in Bond’s spying skills than his womanizing manner during Daniel Craig’s tenure.
