International star Celine Dion announced Wednesday that she will star in the romantic comedy titled love againwhich will hit theaters in 2023 and in which she will play herself.
“See you in the cinema!” he wrote the Quebecois on social media, specifying that he will act alongside Indian Bollywood movie star Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Scottish actor Sam Heughan, known for his role in the drama series “Outlander.”
New songs
Celine Dion also indicated that she will release new songs for this Sony-produced film, which will be released on the big screen on May 12.
The film directed by Jim Strouse (“The incredible Jessica James”) tells the story of a young woman who continues, after the death of her fiancé, to send him text messages. Then an idyll is born with the new holder of the telephone number, a journalist, thanks to Celine Dion, of whom she must write her portrait.
In April, the 54-year-old star postponed all of his scheduled “Courage World Tour” concerts in Europe this year until 2023, due to ongoing health issues.
In recent years, the Canadian star has been forced to cancel and postpone many performances for medical reasons and because of the pandemic.
