Investigators are examining mobile phones, computers and security camera videos and have collected “numerous witness statements to reconstruct the victim’s last hours and the course of events,” prosecutors said Tuesday.
Geoff Payne expressed his desire “to know what happened and expressed to the prosecutor his willingness to testify about anything he knows about his son’s life that could help the investigation,” the press release added.
The pop star died on Wednesday at the age of 31, after falling from the balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires, following “multiple traumas” and “internal and external hemorrhages.”
