After the success of the live series cat eyes in TF1, the famous manga Tsukasa Hojo will benefit from a new adaptation in the form of animation, Disney+ announced this Wednesday, which will be the exclusive broadcaster.
This Wednesday a first visual was revealed and announces an adaptation according to the manga. Japanese singer Ado will perform the famous theme song, immortalized by Anri in the 80s.
This new series will follow the plot of the manga: three sisters who run a cafe during the day combine their forces at night to steal priceless treasures. We don’t know the exact air date yet, but the series will be available in 2025.

Broadcast a few weeks ago, the French adaptation of cat eyes had great success. The first episode attracted more than 6.7 million viewers. The latest, broadcast on Tuesday, attracted 4.2 million.
This series with a colossal budget stars Constance Labbé (Sylia), Camila Lou (Tam) and Claire Romain (Alexia). The action was moved to Paris. Gilbert Melki plays the story’s antagonist, an art dealer.
Rapper MB14 plays Inspector Quentin Chapuis (Toshio Utsumi in Japanese). Elodie Fontan, already in the adaptation of another emblematic work by Tsukasa Hōjō, Nicky Larson (2018) by Philippe Lacheau, she plays a hitwoman.
