She reveals that she herself almost turned to him a few years ago, before her unwanted pregnancy was naturally terminated by a miscarriage.
The interview took place last June, days after the United States Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, in force since 1973, which guaranteed the right to abortion in the country. Every state is now free to ban it.

“I have worked very hard for the last five years to forgive my father and my family and try to understand them: it is different. The information they receive is different, their life is different.
