The Teletubbies are back. The famous children’s series of the 90s has been modernized by Netflix. The platform, which produced 26 new 12-minute episodes, revealed a first image and official synopsis on Wednesday:
“Enjoy wonderful, colorful and learning-filled adventures with Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po in this modernized version of the acclaimed series for young children, starring Emmy-nominated actor Tituss Burgess (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) lends his voice. Each episode features new original songs that will have the whole family dancing!
The Teletubbies will be played by Rachelle Beinart, Rebecca Hyland, Nick Kellington and Jeremiah Krage. The quartet had previously played the characters in the first reboot, which aired between 2015 and 2018.
Netflix has not yet revealed the content of the episodes. Singer Lil Nas X, however, hinted last year that he was in the works on a collaboration with the Teletubbies. Reply November 14.
