It’s safe to say that one of the most popular action films of the last decade is john wick, which saw Keanu Reeves play a retired assassin seeking revenge on the people who killed his dog. The franchise was relaunched in 2020 with streets of rage 4which was also well received, although it is unclear if streets of rage 5 Is coming.
streets of rage definitely qualifies as a Sega classic worthy of a film adaptation, especially after how badly Sonic the hedgehog acted films (you can watch them by subscribing to Paramount+). This doesn’t mean that streets of rage It will achieve the same levels of success, but with Derek Kolstad writing the film, we can at least count on him to get to the forefront of the action. The premise of the original games is simple enough that Kolstad has plenty of room to contribute his own material, as long as viewers get to see the protagonists defeat the villains.
Not just the concrete details on what to expect from streets of rage Enter the film, we will pass them to you. Until then, Disney+ subscribers can view Derek Kolstad’s work on display at The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Episodes “Power Broker” and “The Whole World Is Watching,” or you can split your HBO Max subscription to watch your 2021 movie Nobody.
