Eurovision 2025: impressive images of the Louane trials presented

The candidate, who will defend France with the title “Maman”, currently repeats for his performance in Basel. The first images were revealed.

The Eurovision raises a corner of the veil at the service of Louane. Three photos representing the French candidate in the Basel scene were published this Friday, May 9 on Instagram for the official story of the event.

In the photos, the 28 -year -old singer interprets his title, while a long sand network flows from the ceiling. “Louane is raining, but with sand,” summarizes Eurovision in its publication.

Dress with a black dress, the artist, barefoot, sings in a circle made of sand. As indicated in X Fabien Randanne, a journalist specialized in Eurovision, Louane concluded his performance while sweeping the sand that reveals a mirror.

“Representation is even better”

The sand is also, according to him, a metaphor for the time that flows too fast. “On stage, the sand falls grain after grain, as time slides into a sand watch (to remind him that time passes quickly),” he said on the social network.

Louane reacted to his essay with 20 minutes. “It’s too great! Well, there are things to adjust, I’m not completely comfortable, but, frankly, it was incredible. The representation is even better than I imagined!”

“It is a difficult technical performance, which requires precision. We were waiting to see if everything worked and … everything works (…) We are emotional, yes, it is true that it is a bet,” said Alexandra Redde-Amel, head of the French delegation.

A very personal song

“It was extremely complicated to establish. A technical process was created in Sweden to form this tornado and works. It is really the highlight of the performance,” he said.

Louane song, MotherIt is a title “full of love, hope and transmission” where he evokes his mother, but also becomes a mother. We also listen to the voice of his daughter Esmae, five years old, at the end of the song.

Eurovision takes place this year in Basel, Switzerland, after last year’s victory by Swiss artist Nemo. The semifinals will take place on May 13 and 15 and the final on May 17.
