Miss World 2025: Agathe Cauet reveals her national costume inspired by Notre-Dame de Paris

Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais 2022 and the first Dauphine of Miss France in 2023 presented the national costume that will lead to France on May 31 during the world Miss competition.

Less than a month of the 72nd edition of Miss Monde, scheduled for May 31 in Hyderabad, India, Agathe Cauet, the first Dauphine of Miss France in 2023 chosen to represent France during this competition, presented the first images of her national disguise.

During the inauguration ceremony of the Miss World competition this Sunday, May 11 in India, this outfit, produced by Smaïn Boutamtam, is inspired by the Notre-Dame Cathedral of Paris, reopened since December after more than five years of work after a fire that had destroyed part of the building in April 2019.

Therefore, this disguise occupies certain elements of the emblematic monument of Paris, such as its famous stained showcase, embroidered in crystals in the bust of the disguise, or the two towers of the facade symbolized by a large shoulder.

“This test is now a force for me”

It is usually Audrey Ho-Wen-TsaïSecond arrival of Miss France 2024, which should have represented France this year in the Miss World competition. But, not having expressed his desire to participate, Agathe CauetMiss Nord-Pas-de-Calais 2022 and First Dauphine de Miss France in 2023, therefore, Miss France chose it to replace it.

On May 31, the Cambrai candidate will face 108 contestants to try to win the Miss Monde crown, a title that France has not won for 72 years.

For the occasion, Agathe Cauet has chosen to defend the fight against pediatric cancers. An issue that the young woman knows well since she herself was a victim. At age 17, it was operated with a tumor of almost 10 centimeters in the ovary.

“This terrible experience is now a strength for me. After this tumor, I wanted to become a nurse and I worked for two years. Now I am a godmother of Cékedonheur associations and Judaism. They bring a little happiness and comfort to hospitalized children,” he confided in April for the BFM Lille set.

During the previous edition of the Miss Monde competition, in March 2024, it was Krystyna Pyszkova, Miss Czech Republic, who won the crown, while Clémence Botino, Miss France 2020, qualified for the top 40 in 112 participants.
