The order of passage could not be determined late at night from Thursday to Friday. In fact, the second semifinal must have finished to find out which countries will participate in the final.
Precise rules
After each of the semifinals, the qualified candidates underwent a draw to determine if they will occur during the first or second part of the final. After the second semifinal, the producers of the program choose how to organize the songs so that the night is as entertaining as possible, thus avoiding too similar songs.
The order of passage is far from being trivial: Eurovision connoisseurs believe that the possibilities of winning victory are greater when candidates occur in the second half of the night.
The final votes will open a few moments before the first song and close about forty minutes after the last. The spectators may vote by downloading the official Eurovision application, going to the site www.esc.vote or by phone or SMS, following the indications that will parade on the screen. Everyone can vote up to 20 times. The vote for your own country is impossible. The final result of the night will be determined by the votes of the public and those of the international jurors.
