The energy failure that affects part of the Alps-Maritimes this Saturday, May 24 will not prevent the Cannes Festival from ending as planned. The closing ceremony, which will take place at night, will take place “in normal conditions,” said the organizers.
“The Palais des Festives has changed in an independent energy supply system, which allows the maintenance of all the events and projections planned today, including the closing ceremony, in normal conditions,” they said in a press release.
