“Addiction is a scream”: Noemie Lenoir trusts for the first time in her alcoholism

The French actress and model evokes her addiction to Konbini and reveals that she had a suicide attempt in 2010.

“A disease” that is never completely cured according to Noemie Lenoir. The famous French model and actress trusted her alcoholism for the first time in a video for Konbini. Ralph Lauren’s old face, Victoria’s Secret or L’Oréal explains that he started drinking at age 19. “It was a holiday, it was just the night with friends,” says Face Camera.

But little by little, the habit begins to have priority over his daily life. “The day I realized that it was more normal, it was when I was alone at home and that I opened my bottles of Rosé. There I said: ‘There may be a problem.”

“Addiction is a cry. This anger had had it for a long time, since in my house I did not go,” explains the one who also reveals a difficult childhood, surrounded by an “alcoholic father” and a “mother who was in depression.”

After posing for the covers of the most prestigious American fashion magazines such as Vogue or she in the early 2000s, Noemie Lenoir reveals that she had suffered from depression. “Until the day I really fell, reserve the one who confesses to having made a suicide attempt in 2010. I went there and told myself: ‘I am an alcoholic.'”

A “disease” that remains “for life”

“I hated myself, I trust the model. Inside, she was the most horrible woman in the world for me,” he adds in opposition to the title of “more beautiful woman in the world” that some magazines had given him. The one who then had “no one to talk about that” has been relying for years to meet with a shrink.

“I was 33 years old, we started putting words, to visit the silences again. He made me understand that I had to look at me this strength to get out of it.” After “a few years” of work in oneself, Noemie Lenoir is now sober.

However, the one who is also an actress refuses to be considered completely cured. “They have told me that it is fine, it has been a long time since you have get drunk, you are no longer an alcoholic! Yes. I am an alcoholic and I will be my whole life. And it is not a shame. It is not a pride, it is a disease,” he concludes.
