The American singer and actor Bobby Sherman, worshiped by young Americans in the 1960s, died at the age of 81 years of terminal kidney cancer. It was his wife, Brigitte Poplon Sherman, who announced his death to the American press.
“It is the infinitely heavy heart that I share the death of my beloved husband, Bobby Sherman. Bobby went to hold my hand, while supporting our life with love, courage and unwavering grace during our magnificent years together,” he said on Instagram.
Last April, Brigitte Poplon Sherman revealed that he had been diagnosed with stadium cancer 4. In an interview with Fox News Media, he specified that Bobby Sherman’s body was “letting go” due to the very rapid evolution of cancer that “spread everywhere.”
Carrera on television and music
Little known for the general public in France, Bobby Sherman has established himself as the idol of adolescents in the 1960s thanks in particular to the series The brides come here in which he played the main role from 1968 to 1970.
