The Assassin’s Creed series will be adapted in live movement by Netflix

The video game, published by Ubisoft, will be the theme of a live adaptation in Netflix. The series will be directed by Roberto Patino and David Wiener.

It is official, Netflix will develop the live movement series Assassin’s CreedAdapted from successful video games published by Ubisoft. According to specialized media VarietyThe project had been in the pipes for five years, but since then progress has been carried out.

The intrigue will “focus on a secret war between two shadow factions: one decided to determine the future of humanity by control and manipulation, while the other is struggling to preserve free will. The series follows its characters through crucial historical events while fighting to shape the destiny of humanity.”

The series was entrusted to Roberto Patino and David Wiener, accredited, both, creators, showrunners and executive producers. “We have been fanatics of Assassin’s Creed since its launch in 2007, they said. Every day we are working in this series, we are excited and touched by the possibilities that ‘Assassin’s creed’ opens us.”

“Power, violence and sex”

“The show, the parkour and the strong sensations form a solid basis to display a plot around what constitutes the very essence of humanity: people who seek a goal, who fight with issues of identity, destiny and faith. The series talks about power, violence, sex, greed and revenge. But more than anything, it is a series about the links between men and women, cultures, cultures. This is not the first fiction adaptation ofAssassin’s Creed. A feature film of the same name with Michael Fassbender has already been launched in 2016. No date for the series has been revealed.

Successful franchise

This is not the first collaboration between Netflix and Ubisoft. Previously, the two companies had joined strength for the animated series Cretin rabbits: Invasion, Captain Laserhawk: a blood dragon remix AND Splinter Cell: Deathwatch – The latter must be transmitted during the year.
