And for a good reason, the recordings of Hind Rajab’s call with help, in the heart of the film, they had aroused great international emotion several months ago.

Five years, Hind Rajab was found dead inside a car with bullets in the city of Gaza, after spending hours on January 29, 2024, with the Palestinian red average. The vehicle in which he was traveling with other family members had been attacked by Israeli soldiers.

Oscar head?
After Venice on Wednesday, the film will turn the autumn film festivals, such as Toronto, London, Saint-Sébastien or Busan. Its title has already returned a lot in the specialized press for the Oscar teams.
As a reminder, the October 7 attack led to the death of 1,219 people on the Israeli side, mostly civilians, according to an AFP count based on official data. Of the 251 people kidnapped that day, 47 remain held in Gaza, 25 of which were declared dead by the Israeli army.
The Israeli retaliation campaign left at least 63,633 dead in the Gaza Strip, mostly civilians, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health, put under the authority of Hamas. The Ministry, whose figures are considered reliable by the UN, does not specify the number of killed fighters.
