Omar Sy clarifies things. Questioned in Seven to eight In TF1 this Sunday, September 14, the actor first reacted to a “false news” about him, broadcast this summer by the current values of Extreme Right magazine.

Omar Sy transmitted the denial of the SNCF on social networks.
“At that time, they (current values, editor’s note) tell this story that is completely false. (…), but it is always a bit the same as my name is somewhere, it flies quite quickly (…) and falls very fast. So we know that it is only one step,” says the actor in the microphone of seven to eight.
“I do not affect me personally, it does not affect my life. And these people who are tense, ultimately, it is they who have a problem. (…) The truth always ends. As they say, the lie takes the elevator, the truth takes the stairs,” added the actor.
“They smell a lot to be able to tell me”
For Omar Sy, this experience illustrates the “time” of the media climate in France. “These tensions are increasingly numerous, but I would say especially stronger and now we see them in a certain press,” he says.
