“We spent the last days to have reflexive conversations with Jimmy, and after these discussions, we made the decision to take care of the program on Tuesday,” the group, owner of the ABC channel on Monday, in a statement.

“Scandalous behavior”

In his statement on Monday, Disney explains that the decision to temporarily suspend its program had been taken “to avoid aggravating a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country.”
