A scare at the wheel that fortunately did not cause any injuries. On Instagram this Monday, October 13, Alec Baldwin revealed that he and his brother Stephen were victims of a car accident in East Hampton, New York.
According to the actor and producer, a man driving a “large garbage truck” suddenly drove in front of him. Trying to avoid it, Alec Baldwin crashed into a “large tree” and damaged his vehicle, a Range Rover SUV, which was actually his wife’s.
“This morning I had a car accident. The guy blocked my path with a truck, a large garbage truck (…) in order not to run over him, I crashed into a tree. I crashed into a large tree and crashed my car, my wife’s car,” he explained.
“Safe and sound”
In his Instagram video, Alec Baldwin said he felt “bad” for damaging his wife’s vehicle, but assured his fans that he and his brother Stephen were “fine.” He also took the opportunity to thank the police officers who helped him at the scene of the accident.
“Stephen is doing well and is grateful that no one was hurt,” his rep told Rolling Stone. “He appreciates the public’s interest in him and confirms that he and Alec are safe.”
