5 star programming. Awaited by thousands of spectators, this Tuesday, October 14, the first part of the program of the Vieilles Charrues festival was announced, in Carhaix, Finistère.
The organizers have revealed the first names of an edition marked by the presence of a world-class star: the singer Katy Perry, who recently traveled to space, will offer an exclusive concert in Brittany on Thursday, July 16.
Along with him, the festival announces the presence of the singer Gims, also present on July 16, the rapper Orelsan (Sunday, July 19), Mika (Saturday, July 18), Jean-Louis Aubert (Friday, July 17), Feu! Chaterton (Sunday 19 July), Mosimann (Friday 17 July), Josman (Thursday 16 July) and Biga*Ranx (Thursday 16 July).
If the festival schedule remains for a while and the organizers want to keep the announcement secret and control, Nick Cave, scheduled for Friday, July 17 with the group The Bad Seeds, announced himself on social media, revealing the dates of his European tour on October 6. His arrival has already been confirmed by the organizers.
A physical pre-sale scheduled for this Thursday
As for the box office, the public will have to wait until Friday, October 17, starting at 1 p.m. on the Vieilles Charrues website. According to the information revealed by the organization, the Thursday ticket will cost €61, the day ticket for Friday, Saturday and Sunday will cost €52.
Passes that give access to Thursday, Friday and Saturday cost €149, while the pass for Friday, Saturday and Sunday costs €144. Finally, the 4-day pass costs €196.
Please note that a physical pre-sale is planned at the festival facilities, at the Persivien offices in Carhaix, starting at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 16. Last year, the 2025 edition recorded 220,000 paid entries over the four days of the festival.
