Neil Gaiman posts a wild review on Elon Musk’s Rings of Power commentary

Neil Gaiman makes headlines again thanks to the debut of The sand man on Netflix and wasn’t shy about calling people back for their critical and rude comments regarding casting. Now it’s the same for Amazon The Lord of the Rings: The rings of power, and it doesn’t just call a random old fan. No, he calls (rather wildly) billionaire Elon Musk for his comments.

There has been a lot of criticism of the new Amazon Prime program. was in the process of checking so bombed that Amazon had to act , even though the show was well received by critics and seen by 25 million people. One of the main reasons for the attacks revolves around power rings problem (which has many black people) and the representation of female characters. Musk’s comments also have to do with how women and men are portrayed on the show and Gaiman didn’t want to be a part of it, posting on Twitter:

This response comes after a fan tagged Gaiman asking what he thought of Musk’s post and didn’t hold back in his comment on what Elon Musk had to say.

Musk wasn’t the only billionaire to share his thoughts on the fantastic new show, as the owner of Amazon. Jeff Bezos gave some notes power rings , even if it is misunderstood about it. Musk, however, was not so aware of it. The tweeted on male characters who are cowards and who because of this adaptation “Tolkien is turning into the grave”. To take a look at:

Not surprisingly, the the author applauded so loudly. Gaiman is an advocate of casting diversity and does so in adapting his seminal work. The sand man. On his show, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, a black actor, plays Death, who is white in the comics. Gaiman said he gave him a shows that were moved him to tears. He also praised the portrayals of Gwendoline Christie as Lucifer Morningstar and Jenna Colman as Johanna Constantine, who play male characters in the comics.

Gaiman was very involved in adapting his work from page to screen. He told Tesla CEO very clearly that he wouldn’t ask him how to make him work, so Musk shouldn’t comment on a job he can’t do.

Before, Gaiman has issued his approval of the LOTR series , saying that was what he had hoped for as a child and that he would watch the series “with enthusiasm”. So sum your love for the Lord of the Ringshis appreciation for his new prequel and his disapproval of people complaining about the diversity of the cast should have expected his passionate response.

Many have since cheered on the trolls who ruined the show’s soundtrack on Rotten Tomatoes and a recent editorial published on THR it was widely shared that the widespread criticism “completely misses the author’s mind”.

According to TV schedule 2022, new episodes of power rings they go out every Friday and can be seen with a Amazon Prime subscription . It will be interesting to see how fans react to the show’s trailer and if it continues to be bombed by trolls. If so, let’s hope Neil Gaiman has some more cheers ready in his arsenal. Who am I kidding? I’m sure.
