After several years of development, a film about hello kitty will see the light of day. On Instagram, Warner Bros. studios have announced the premiere of the project scheduled for July 21, 2028 in American theaters.
“Hello Hollywood #HelloKittyMovie will be released in theaters on July 21, 2028,” the studios said on Instagram. “This film marks Hello Kitty’s Hollywood debut as she embarks with her friends on a cinematic adventure that is sure to delight viewers of all ages.”
Leo Matsuda directing
In project since 2019, this feature film hello kitty will be directed by Leo Matsuda, who worked notably on zootopia EITHER Wreck-It Ralph. Dana FoxWicked) will be in charge of the stage.
This film is produced by FlynnPictureCo’s Beau Flynn, who spent nearly a decade courting Sanrio founder Shintaro Tsuji for the rights to the famous character, a first for the Japanese company.
