Who better than Frodo to celebrate a wedding organized in the country of the Hobbits? According to several local media, actor Elijah Wood, star of the lord of the ringsHe was invited by surprise to a ceremony organized in Hobbiton, one of the filming locations of the saga, in New Zealand.
“We were finishing signing the documents when suddenly Elijah Wood started walking down the aisle,” the groom, Sharik, told the Waikato Herald newspaper.
“At first I was like, ‘No, it’s not him,’ then, ‘Oh shit, it’s really him,'” he added. “He shook our hands, congratulated us, and stayed to take some photos before leaving.”

According to the New Zealand press, Elijah Wood and other members of the team the lord of the ringsand Andy Serkis (who plays Gollum in the saga) were present in New Zealand to attend Armageddon, a convention dedicated to geek culture in Auckland.
