Metallica will perform at the Stade de France for two dates in May 2023

For their return to the capital, on May 17 and 19, 2023, the American metal band will play two completely different setlists.

Four years after their concert at the Stade de France, Metallica repeats the event. The famous Californian heavy metal band will return to Paris on two new dates: May 17 and 19, 2023.

These two Parisian shows are part of a world tour called “M72 World Tour”, which will begin in Europe with a date in Amsterdam on April 27, 2023 and will end in Mexico City on September 29, 2024.

“Weekend without repetition”

For this return to the stage, Metallica has imagined an original concept called “No Repeat Weekend”. James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo will perform over two nights across all tour cities with two completely different set lists and opening acts each night.

In Paris, Metallica fans will be able to find the opening of Five Finger Death Punch and Ice Nine Kills on May 17 and Architects and Mammoth WVH on May 19, 2023.

On the programme, two unique and differentiated concerts where the group’s greatest hits will be played but also new titles from their next album. 72 stations – expected April 14, 2023 – with no songs playing between the two shows.

Tickets valid for the two concerts in Paris will go on sale starting Friday, December 2 on the Stade de France website, with a pre-sale on Thursday 1 at 10 a.m. prior registration.

Individual tickets for each concert will be available from January 20. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold will be donated to All Within My Hands, a foundation created by the group in 2017.
