The Queen is undergoing a serious medical check-up and her doctors say they are “concerned” about her state of health,” Buckingham Palace said on Thursday.
“Following further assessment this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended that she remain under medical supervision. The Queen continues to feel comfortable and at Balmoral,” the palace said in a brief statement.
