However, other films established under the old regime continue to progress, notably joker 2. The sequel to the 2019 Joaquin Phoenix film has been in pre-production for months, and it wasn’t clear when filming would actually begin. Well, filming has begun, with director Todd Phillips breaking the news via social media. Not only that, but he also gave fans their first official look at the upcoming sequel.
So far, audiences have only received small glimpses of what’s to come. Joker: madness for two and, even now, exact plot details have yet to be revealed. So those looking for a juicy bite should be somewhat excited by what Todd Phillips shared with his instagram . Well, it certainly is a sight for sore eyes. Of course, no context is being provided at the moment, so fans will just have to speculate as to why the killer was cleared. Still, fans are probably very happy to hear that the cameras are officially rolling on the long-awaited sequel.
Todd Phillips confirmed fucking for two in June via a post she shared on Instagram. While plot details are almost non-existent, it has been confirmed that the film will be a musical and will star Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn. The film’s subtitle, which translates to “madness for two” or “madness for two,” suggests that the two central characters are about to commit serious (and potentially fatal) misdeeds. The film’s cinematographer, Lawrence Sher, also promoted Gaga ahead of filming. He thinks the Grammy-winning pop star is “really good” for her role and sees the cast and crew finding “everyday magic on set.”
Naturally, the two stars will be joined by other capable actors for this sequel. Zazie Beetz is set to reprise her role as Sophie Dumond, Arthur Fleck’s former neighbor (whom she assumed was her girlfriend). Joker: madness for twoThe reported budget suggests that the film will be an incredibly ambitious undertaking. Todd Phillips certainly has his work cut out for him as he tries to build on his work on the original. This is also the case for the well-paid Joaquin Phoenix, who won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 2020 for his portrayal of Arthur. Time will tell what they end up doing, but in the meantime, Phillips will hopefully drop the occasional behind-the-scenes snapshot.
