This is Indira Ampiot, Miss Guadalupe, who won the Miss France crown this Saturday, December 17. She succeeds Diane Leyre, Miss France 2022, who presented the crown to her.
Miss Nord Pas-de-Calais, Agathe Cauet, Miss France-Comté, Marion Navarro, Miss Martinique, Axelle René and Miss Auvergne Alicia Ladeveze are respectively first, second, third and fourth runner-up.
The moving goodbyes of Sylvie Tellier
The finalists were decided 50/50 by the viewers and the jury. Miss France 2023 was chosen after an evening hosted by Jean-Pierre Foucault and Sylvie Tellier, who is leaving Miss France this year to pursue entrepreneurship. The former director made an emotional farewell during the evening.
Francis Huster chaired the Miss France jury tonight. The judoka Clarisse Agbegnenou, the singer Kendji Girac, the actor and producer Dominique Besnehard, Miss France 2013, Marine Lorphelin, the actress Bérengère Krief, who replaced Camille Lellouche, and the actor Arnaud Ducret completed this jury.
This year’s relaxation of selection criteria has obviously not yet revolutionized the forms of competition. If two of the 30 candidates competing on Saturday were tattooed (Miss Languedoc and Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais), none was a mother and the three oldest were only 26 years old (Miss Lorraine, Miss New Caledonia and Miss Picardy).
