Al Roker’s understudy sends love to the recovering star and makes it clear whether Santa can weather the storm

While Al Roker recovers after a some scary trips to the hospital his Today understudy Somara Theodore wishes him luck as he reports on the impending snowstorm. And in true Al Roker fashion, he assures the kids that even if it’s cold and snowing for him, Santa can get home safely before Christmas morning.

Theodore will likely report on the weather at least through the end of the TV show 2022 . Rocker appeared in Today a few weeks ago to provide an update on her health, saying that while she’s on the road to recovery, she needs to get her “strength back.” In one of his recent tweets, today today’s woman posted a nice message to Rocker who said:

The weatherman joins most of the Today present the presenters in recognition of their love for the Daytime Emmy winner. when Roker missed his first Thanksgiving parade at 27, her co-stars have sent her so much love and support. Even the hosts surprised the weatherman in front of his house sing him Christmas carols and let him know how much he is appreciated and how much he misses him. While everyone is clearly missing the file Today pilar who is recovering from multiple health issues due to blood clots, also welcome Theodore with open arms.

Théodore is generally the meteorologist of Today over the weekend, but while Roker is on the mend, he fills in for the beloved weatherman on weekdays. When it’s not turned on Today is a full-time meteorologist at News4 in Washington DC He’s been traveling up north to fill in for Roker for a while and he’s doing a great job.

In the spirit of Al Roker, he provided an entertaining and accurate weather update. With a major blizzard hitting much of the United States and Christmas just days away, Theodore made sure to not only report the weather, but reassure the kids watching that Santa Claus is coming home. She said:

The producers say that even if the storm comes, Santa can weather it. In fact, reindeer love to play in the snow at high altitudes, so the gifts will not be long in arriving for the children.
