As Christmas approaches, Kate Middleton pays tribute to Elizabeth II, who passed away last September. The Princess of Wales recorded a message for real Christmas carols: together at christmas, a program that will be broadcast on December 24 on the ITV channel.
This message was recorded on December 14 during the preparations for the traditional Christmas concert at Westminster Abbey.
“This Christmas will be the first without Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. Her Majesty loved Christmas,” Kate recalled.
“She saw Christmas as a time to bring people together and to remind us of the importance of faith, friendship and family, to show empathy and compassion.”
“An incredible legacy”
And Kate Middleton to add: “Her Majesty leaves an incredible legacy, which inspires us deeply. The Christmas concert is dedicated to her and to all the people who are sadly no longer with us.”
“Christmas will be very different this year, but we can remember our traditions. Take time to slow down and celebrate with your family and friends all the wonderful things that make Christmas so special.”
The program Royal Carols: Together at Christmas will be hosted by actress Catherine Zeta Jones. On the show: this message from Kate Middleton, but also tributes to Queen Elizabeth II from William.
