Is Eternals 2 finally moving forward? That’s why fans think so

say that eternal it was a polarizing entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be an understatement. The film ranks 47% on Rotten Tomatoes among critics (the lowest score of any MCU film) and has an audience score of 77%, earning just over $402 million worldwide. However, after eternalThe credits rolled and the credits scenes played, those main characters would have returned, and now some fans think that eternal 2 is finally moving forward due to some information that has surfaced.

According to a YouTube translation report, Big Punch Entertainment shared that Don Lee, who played Gilgamesh eternal and is managed by this art agency, ha eternal 2 among his list of upcoming projects for the next few years. Note that Marvel Studios hasn’t officially announced that the sequel is happening, but if this info from BPE is accurate, we’ll see Lee back in action for the Eternals’ next cinematic adventure as the strongest member of that group.

Now, at this point, many of you reading this are sure to say, “But wait, Gilgamesh is dead eternal!” She did. Midway through the film, Gilgamesh was killed by the Deviant known as the Kro in the Druig community in the Amazon jungle. So how would I resume the game in eternal 2? Three options come to mind.

First, we’ll see Gilgamesh in flashbacks; Since our main Eternals have been on Earth since 5000 BC, there is no shortage of ways to remember Gilgamesh’s life across the millennia. Secondly, Lee will appear to one of the still living Eternals via some sort of hallucination, dream sequence, etc. in a way, though it’s doubtful that this new version of the character shares the same memories as its predecessor.

However, the news of Don Lee’s involvement in… eternal 2 offers fans of this corner of the MCU another piece of hope that will be revisited at some point in the next few years. Our first suggestion that this was the case came from Patton Oswalt, who voiced Pip the Troll in the first film and said a sequel directed by Chloe Zhao was in the works. pip appeared in eternalthe opening credits scene alongside Eros by Harry Styles, aka Starfox, who informed Thena, Druig and Makkari that he could help them find their eternal companions who had been kidnapped by Arishem. eternalThe second end credits scene then teased Kit Harington’s potential future Dane Whitman as the Dark Knight, showing him opening a case containing the Ebony Blade, with Mahershala Ali making an appearance uncredited vocal like that blade.

Once Marvel Studios officially announced it eternal 2 happens, we’ll let you know. In the meantime, keep visiting 24 News Bulletin for more updates on upcoming Marvel movies and upcoming Marvel TV shows, and catch up on past MCU content with a Disney+ subscription.
