‘All my friends hate Ticketmaster’: Box office setbacks inspire an American artist to make an album

Country singer Zach Bryan expressed his dissatisfaction with the site’s recent hiccups on his new album. All my friends hate Ticketmaster (All my friends hate Ticketmaster).

The wave of protests in front of Ticketmaster is gaining momentum. Reacting to recent hiccups on the ticketing site, country artist Zach Bryan has announced the release of an album called All my friends hate Ticketmaster (All my friends hate Ticketmaster).

On Instagram, the musician accompanied this statement with a statement denouncing “a massive problem with the price of concert tickets lately.”

“I’ve decided to play a limited number of concerts next year, so I’ve done everything I can to keep prices as low as possible and show people that tickets don’t have to be $450 to see a good show. ” he adds.

Lack of competition and exorbitant prices

Last November, Ticketmaster came under heavy criticism after a massive fiasco when it opened a pre-sale for Taylor Swift’s US tour, The Era Tour.

Amid bugs, endless queues, and insane prices, Ticketmaster ended up canceling the sale “due to extraordinarily high demand on the ticketing systems and an insufficient supply of tickets to meet this demand.”

This mismanagement eventually upset some ticket users to the point that around 30 Taylor Swift fans sued Ticketmaster for “fraud, price fixing, and antitrust violations.”

The controversy surrounding this ticket sale has also revived criticism of the dominant position of Ticketmaster, a giant in the ticketing industry. US lawmakers have called in particular for an investigation into the ticketing business, and a committee, supported by the Senate, has organized a hearing on the lack of competition in the ticketing industry.
