A claim of sexual assault and deliberate attempt to inflict emotional distress has been filed in California against American rock star Steven Tyler. The facts alleged by the complainant, Julia Holcomb, date back to the 1970s. According to the complaint sent by Rolling StoneThe young woman was 16 years old when the Aerosmith singer began a relationship with her. This would have continued for three years.
The American media indicates that the name of Steven Tyler does not appear in the complaint, but there are passages from the singer’s memoirs. Does the noise in my head bother you?, are cited there. In particular the one in which he says that he “almost married a teenager” whose parents had “signed a paper to give him custody of her, so they wouldn’t arrest him if he made her travel to another state.” She also writes that she took her on tour with him, specifying that he was “26 years old” and that she was “barely driving age.” Besides, Rolling Stone he had mentioned Julia Holcomb’s name in an article dedicated to the group in 1976.

The complaint also reports that Julia Holcomb’s mother had entrusted her custody to the interpreter of dream on, then at the height of his glory. The document recounts the meeting between the young woman and Steven Tyler in 1973 on the occasion of an Aerosmith concert in Oregon, after which he would have taken her back to her hotel. At the end of a conversation in which they would have mentioned the young woman’s age, he would have performed “various criminal sexual acts” on her.
After a few meetings, he is said to have convinced Julia Holcomb’s mother to give him custody of the latter, saying that he would ensure she continued her education and received medical care. Promises that she “did not keep. Instead, he continued to travel with the complainant, assaulting her and providing her with alcohol and drugs ”, the complaint can be read.

She also claims to have gotten pregnant by the singer at age 17, and that he would have convinced her to have an abortion. After undergoing the operation, she would have left to return to Portland. She got married and put that experience behind her, until Steven Tyler’s book came out in 2011.
