The Surfers came out in February in Newquay and did the most amazing stunts and then we got this CGI at the end that made me choke. First of all, you don’t repeat a round. Second, if you’re going to do this, it has to be better than this. Leeward side [Tamohori] and me, we didn’t agree on that sort of thing. I don’t think he understood me well.
Repeating a gimmick, no matter what franchise you’re talking about, is a risky move. Still, it’s pretty silly to do an actual camera walk, only to repeat that movement in a much less cohesive CGI product. What’s worse, we’re supposed to believe that both cases showed us the same 007 at work.

Once again, the tradition of hands-on approaches to large waterfalls is paying off. However, the 20th James Bond film is gradually going off the rails after its shocking capture of Commander Bond before the credits roll.
