A sentiment perhaps maintained by the British press, which the day after the documentary was broadcast, widely supported William and Kate, calling their “dignity” in the face of the “betrayal” of the Sussexes. Throughout the six episodes of this documentary, Meghan and Harry spoke at length about their difficulties within the royal family, but also about the harassment of the tabloids, sometimes guided, according to them, by members of the royal family. They also denounced the systemic racism of the country and the royal family.
