As we anticipate this year’s film offerings, I have three words for you: Nicolas Cage’s Dracula. An inspired cast, right? The beloved actor will play the iconic vampire in Universal’s remake of the classic monster movie, Renfield. When the public first saw face to face actor as the bloodthirsty character when the Renfield trailer released on Thursday, Twitter couldn’t help but talk about Cage’s next role.

Renfield is a dark and gory comedy starring Nicholas Hoult as RM Renfield, Dracula’s servant and familiar who first appeared in Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel That Started It All. As the trailer progresses, Renfield seeks nervously about “getting out of a toxic relationship” with her boss, who is Dracula. As a first look at the next horror movie Nicolas Cage’s vampire role revealed, fans were over the moon.
