Last year was crazy for Ezra Miller. While he is involved in projects such as Fantastic Beasts 3, the 30-year-old actor has made countless headlines due to legal troubles and outlandish allegations against him. Miller apparently tried to make amends (and save the Fast film in the works), apologizing and seeking mental health treatment. And the DCEU star recently pleaded guilty to trespassing and has already been sentenced.
Over the past few months, it certainly seemed like Ezra Miller was trying to smooth things over after such a contentious year. According to a report from Deadline, he recently pleaded guilty to a home invasion and will receive a reduced sentence related to a home invasion in Vermont. Namely, Miller will pay a $500 fine and serve one year of probation. Hopefully no more quarrels will occur during this time.
That ruling was carried out by Vermont Superior Court Judge Kerry A. McDonald-Cady. Ezra Miller was physically present in court when this ruling was handed down, hearing the judge’s words directly. McDonald-Cady warned that further charges could be filed if they broke their probation. She was quoted as saying:
He will be placed on administrative probation for one year for trespassing to which he pleads guilty. If you successfully complete this trial period and the trial period is closed and released, the 1 charge will still be rejected. However, if you have filed a probation violation for which a court found probable cause, the state may re-file charge 1 of theft.
Sooner…
