It’s no secret that superhero movies are everywhere. And given the popularity of DC’s Batman, he’s been adapted into a film multiple times over the years. More recently, Gotham’s Protector has appeared on the big screen in the Batman, with Robert Pattinson in the title role. And director Matt Reeves explains a mistake in the sequel that he doesn’t want to make its burgeoning franchise .
While the main timeline of the DCEU undergoes a lot of changes thanks to the new management , the Batman it takes place entirely in its own universe. Matt Reeves expands that world with The Penguin Show on HBO Max as good as a possible sequel . recently talked to collider about his plans for Batman 2, and revealed a faux pas he hopes to avoid. as she said,
For me, what I really feel is that I also believe that Rob [Pattinson] it’s so special on paper. My goal has always been to craft those stories from the point of view that still allow the character to be the emotional center of the story. Because a lot of times what happens is after you do the first one, suddenly other Rogues Gallery characters come in and take over and then Batman takes over on a character level or on an emotional level.
Some serious observations have been made. With many Batman franchises, sequels have brought in more and more villains. Sometimes this is accomplished by sacrificing screen time / drawing attention away from the Dark Knight himself. But the smart money says Matt Reeves won’t let that happen Batman 2. We’ll have to wait and see when this in-development project actually begins principal photography.
Matt Reeves’ comments show how Planet of the Apes the director discussed his work the Batman and his growing frankness. His DC debut was taking a long time, but he was able to bring a bold new vision to his vision for Gotham City. And as he expands, he’ll remain focused on playing Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne / Batman.
Hardcore Batman fans will know that Matt Reeves’ comments make a lot of sense given the character’s onscreen history. Case in point: Tim Burton’s beloved sequel Batman returns one could say that it is quite a story of catwoman and Penguin, which is about Michael Keaton’s lead character. Apparently, this is a trap Reeves is careful not to fall into.
It should be fascinating to see what the DCEU finally does with Batman, especially given his new direction. by Andy Muschietti the flash It is expected that feature both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton as the Caped Crusader, and it should be interesting to see which one remains.
