According to him, one of the reasons for this distancing is the distance, since Omar Sy has been living in the United States for more than 10 years with his wife and children. “We saw each other every day, because we worked together, because he was my partner, we wrote, filmed, edited together,” he explains.
And to add: “When I went to the United States, we didn’t see each other for a year, the phone calls, the projects I was doing fell apart.”
If Omar Sy hasn’t heard from Fred Testot to date, he nonetheless claims he’s not on bad terms with his former sidekick: “there’s always respect, there’s always friendship, there’s still love even for him.”
