M3GAN follows an artificially intelligent robot created by a roboticist to protect his granddaughter left in his care after the loss of her parents. But since robots know no limits, this robotic doll will use any means necessary to protect the people she cares about, including murder. I would write this just looking at Poltergeist at an early age. It was definitely a very influential film for me, and I saw it at a very young and impressionable age, and it made a huge impression on me, and that creepy clown doll definitely scarred me for life.
The dolls really bring a spooky feel. Imagine trying to fall asleep only to see a china doll or even one of your stuffed animals staring back at you. Anyone half awake would think that doll with the creepy permanent smile turned its head a little in your direction. The Seven chucky movie brought out the public’s fear of killer dolls. You might think that an innocent doll like Chucky would just throw him across the room, only to find that she has the strength of a human.
