What is the best price or deal for Disney+ right now?

There are currently no Disney+ price specials available; they usually appear around the anniversary of their release or whenever the House of Mouse service chooses to hold its annual Disney+ Day celebrations (around its D23 exhibit).

Alternatively, if you only want Disney+ and want to skip the ads, prepay for a whole year and save 16% (opens in a new tab). This is currently the best Disney+ deal for any country, essentially getting 12 months for the price of 10.

Has the price of Disney+ increased?

Since its launch in November 2019, the price of Disney+ has doubled. Originally costing $6.99 a month, as of March 2021 the plans have increased by $1 to $7.99 a month, with international markets seeing a similar price increase.

The second Disney+ price increase happened most recently in December 2022 and was a bigger change with the introduction of the Disney+ ad-supported plan which costs $7.99 per month. This saw subscribers to the free trading experience jump to $10.99 a month or $109.99 a year (from $79.99 a year).

However, its package has had perhaps the biggest (and most positive) impact, by getting moderately cheaper and offering more variations on its packages instead of the $13.99 fee that included Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+.
