Outlander Is Ending Season 8 On Starz, But It’s Not All Bad News For Claire And Jamie Fans

Jamie and Claire’s TV story may conclude with season eight, but Diana continues her literary journey in her wonderful book series and is working diligently on book ten. With Jamie and Claire, and now Brian and Ellen, there is so much more to come in the “Outlander” universe, and we can’t wait to continue sharing these stories with our fans.

Outlander: Blood of my blood will focus on the turbulent romance between Jamie’s parents Brian Fraser and Ellen Mackenzie, and it’s been in the books since it was hinted it was in the works early last year. Author Diana Gabaldon is also working on a literary version of the story that is being explored, as well as the tenth volume of Jamie and Claire’s chronology of events.

Maybe now with the official green light from Outlander: Blood of my blood, The unclear role of Gabaldon in production, it can be solidified. Her earlier word on stage indicated that she wasn’t even sure how much of the upcoming text would be used in the televised variant of the prequel.
