Coronation of Carlos: less than half of the British want to see Harry and Meghan as guests

Brits have no desire to see Harry and Meghan at their king’s coronation next May, according to a recent poll from the independent.

Everyone is watching, but no one wants to see them. 43% of Britons believe Harry and Meghan should not be invited to Charles III’s coronation on May 6, according to a recent Savanta ComRes poll commissioned by the independent.

And more than half of those polled (55%) believe that Harry should be stripped of his title of Duke of Sussex. That’s 11% more than last December, according to a survey commissioned by the Times. A poll that goes in the direction of many other popularity polls commissioned and broadcast by the British and American press.

most welcome

The public thus judges very severely the couple’s lament in their documentary Harry & Meghan, broadcast on Netflix, as well as the prince’s multiple revelations about his family, in his book alternatewhich will air on Netflix in early December.

On the contrary, this does not prevent the documentary and the book from breaking audience records and being at the top of the sales lists, and generating great profits for Netflix and the Penguin Random House publisher.

Neither Charles nor William reacted to the many accusations against them in Harry’s memoirs. They don’t let anything slip out of what they think of him, posting every time the question is put to them, a façade smile and stubborn silence.

But the British press reported, citing anonymous sources, the discontent of the Windsors, several tabloids assured that Harry and Meghan were no longer welcome at this event with a global audience, already darkened by the distance.
