Happy news for the British royal family. Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are expecting their second child, due this summer. At 32, the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II confirmed the news on social networks where she received many congratulatory messages.
“We are very happy to announce that there will be a new addition to our family this summer,” she captioned a photo of herself with her son August.
“August Can’t Wait to Be a Big Brother”
In a press release, broadcast by news from heavenBuckingham Palace also said: “Princess Eugenie and Sir Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce that they are expecting their second child this summer. The family is delighted and August is looking forward to being a big brother.”
Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank were married in October 2018 at Windsor Castle and had their first child in August 2021.
The new baby will be the third grandchild for Prince Andrew and the Duchess of York, following the birth of Princess Beatrice’s daughter Sienna in September 2021.
