For a generation of supernatural TV fans, Sarah Michelle Gellar Buffy the Vampire Slayer she was a symbol of female power in a male-dominated landscape of badass main characters. Twenty years after dropping Mr Pointy from Buffy, the actress returns to television to face yet another supernatural creature to herd of wolves alongside a cast of first-time actors who worked alongside the star and producer. (Good luck!) When Gossipify spoke to the herd of wolves cast, shared their positive experiences working with the former teen idol.
The new series follows a pair of teenagers bitten by werewolves and a pair of brothers who have been secretly the creature for some time, and how they come together to form a pack of wolves. Armani Jackson, who plays Everett, one of the characters who gets bitten in the first episode, is now airing with a Paramount+ Subscription spoke of the collaboration with Sarah Michelle Gellar in these terms:
I feel like we always absorb things from her when she’s on set. Her energy is so good. So every time she’s there, I feel like it’s a better day on set. She’s always super positive…she definitely sets the tone on set when it comes to positivity. And that she also set the tone for, just because you’re young doesn’t mean you have to let people walk all over you. Just like you are now strong adults and she made sure we knew she wanted us to be comfortable throughout the trip.
Sarah Michelle Gellar brought great energy to the set, according to our interview with the herd of wolves issue. the famous actress addressed the behind the scenes issues of Buffy the Vampire Slayer , previously spoke of wishing she could “do things differently” but didn’t know “how to deal with the stress” she was under at the time. Gellar was on the show when she was in her 20s and, as her husband and fellow actor, Freddie Prinze Jr. recently explained, he has to “deal with a lot of bullshit”. leukocyte .

So, I mean, not only proper etiquette to present yourself on set, but also how to act as a person. She’s someone everyone considers an icon and she’s never gotten to her head. She has family outside of that and yet she always comes back to do it for the fans and she does it for art as well. And that taught us a lot, even outside of, you know, acting advice and stuff like that. How to act like people and how to love, really love to treat people around you if you want to, if you want to keep doing what you love.
Chloe Rose Robertson, who plays Harlan’s sister Luna, also stepped in. Here’s what she shared:
And she is so good. She’s so good when she plays. It’s not just that we had a second mom on set with us, like teaching us, you know, all the things that Tyler has done so well, but to see her perform is great for us. . We are so grateful that we even had the opportunity to see her in this space and then play alongside and with her. And that makes us feel very gratified and very grateful.
The cast had such nice things to say about their co-star and producer herd of wolves.
